Baking instructions for unbaked pies:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees, use your oven's convection setting if you have it. Do not skip this step!!

2. Bake your pie on the bottom rack on a rimmed baking sheet.

3. After 20 minutes, reduce the temperature to 375 degrees.

4. Bake until the crust is nicely browned and the filling is bubbling, or has reached an internal temperature of 165°F about 60-90 minutes (total) for a large pie and 45-60 minutes (total) for a small pie.

5. Let stand at least 15 minutes before eating.

For best results:
